Using A Treadmill To Improve Your Health

!±8± Using A Treadmill To Improve Your Health

It's so easy to let yourself be lazy and make excuses for not exercising. My personal favorites are that I'm too busy, I don't like going to gyms, and I don't have the workout set I need to do it at home.

A treadmill offers a great solution to all of these excuses: You can use it at home anytime, and it's the only thing you need for a good, cardiovascular workout. Even if you're not a big exercise freak, using a simple treadmill in your own home has some great health benefits for you.

The Treadmill Is Good For Your Heat

Treadmills give you a great aerobic workout. A treadmill is a wonderful way to get your heart pumping, which is something all of us could do more often.

Of course, just using a treadmill isn't a comprehensive workout routine; you also need proper nutrition, stretching and weight training to have a good over-all health plan. But, for those of us who need a little aerobic exercise and don't want to head out to a gym, a treadmill offers a great way to get your blood pumping in your own home.

A good aerobic exercise three times a week can do wonders for your heart. Lack of aerobic exercise is a major component in heart disease and heart attack risk. Unfortunately, most of us live very sedentary lifestyles, so our hearts don't naturally get the workout we need.

Burn Up Those Calories

You can lose those extra pounds and get back into those clothes you outgrew with a treadmill. When you're trying to lose weight, you may feel self-conscious jogging around the neighborhood. You want your neighbors looking at you AFTER you take off the pounds. With a treadmill, you can start losing pounds in the privacy of their own homes!

Treadmills can be set to any speed you want to work out at. Brisk walking is good cardiovascular exercise, but to really burn those calories, you'll need to crank that baby up. You can use your treadmill for as little as 15 or 20 minutes a day and start seeing results fast.

Fight Fatigue

Sometimes, chronic fatigue is caused by lack of exercise. Your body is not used to rigorous activity, so everyday things wear you out. As a result, you may not be sleeping well.

A steady treadmill exercise routine, no matter how light, can make you feel like you have more energy. If you get your heart and blood pumping just a little bit every day, you'll notice that you sleep better and have more energy when you're awake. It doesn't have to be much; even a few times a week will produce results.

One word of warning: Don't overdo it at first. Too much exercise too soon can hurt the next day. It's not healthy to push yourself too hard. Start with just 15 minutes and see how you feel. As you build up stamina, you'll be able to spend more time on it.

There's nothing like noticing your results! After just a week you'll notice that you feel better and your heart will thank you.

Ab Circle Pro - Exercise Gimmick Or Dream Come True?

!±8± Ab Circle Pro - Exercise Gimmick Or Dream Come True?

The Ab Circle Pro is one of the newer exercise machines to be added into the As Seen on TV exercise equipment arena. Uniquely designed, its role is to give both a cardio and abdominal workout at the same time. Unlike a lot of the abdominal machines available today, which only focus on a select few of the ab muscles, the Ab Circle Pro targets the entire core by focusing on the upper, middle, lower abs and outer oblique's. The exercise equipment's unique design works out the abdomen as you swivel your lower body back and forth in a circular motion.

Although the abdominal muscles are the main focus for the Ab Circle Pro, the exerciser can also easily be converted into a bun and thigh machine. Using the same swivel motion, the Ab Circle Pro can be transformed to work out the inner and outer thighs as the legs swing away and towards each other. If your goal is to strictly use the Ab Circle Pro for your cardio workouts then at the bare minimum it should not be used for less than 20 minutes a day. Ideally the product would be most effective if its use was combined with other cardio workouts like walking on a treadmill or using an elliptical trainer.

Keep in mind that using an exercise machine is only half of the equation for anyone that wants to successfully reduce body fat. A calorie restricted diet should also be added into a daily routine for optimal results. There are some people out there that can just add a workout to their daily routine and achieve desired results but for most of us living in the real world diet plus exercise is the secret equation for the weight loss formula. Combining a good diet with the right exercise program will help anyone lose weight. It just takes time, determination and patience to achieve a great looking physique.
